Winter Weather Brings Dangerous Driving Conditions

It's that time of year again with slippery roads and obstructed views. Winter in New England means snow, sleet, fog, and ice, and even the most careful of drivers still find themselves in minor to major car accidents.

According to the Federal Highway Administration, snow/ice accounts for approximately 583,300 car crashes per year, including approximately 181,300 injuries and 2,170 deaths. Weather-related motor vehicle accidents account for approximately 24% of all motor vehicle accidents in the country, as well as 21% of crash-related injuries.

While some of these accidents are no one's fault, many are preventable. You shouldn't have to suffer because of the negligence of a careless driver.
